The Heritage of Heroes hosts weekly Coffee Meet-Ups every Thursday at Starbucks in Midlothian. Stay tuned via our Facebook community with updates regarding meet-ups. The Heritage of Heroes sponsored 32 veterans in 2025 for their first annual event to support and bless veterans during the holiday season. This tree is more than a symbol - it is a living legacy of connection, remembrance, and hope. May every branch remind us of the courage of our veterans, and may every blessing we share strengthen the roots of our community for generations to come. At the heart of the Branches for Blessing Veterans Tree is a simple but powerful belief: when we come together in gratitude and compassion, we create a community. The Annual Branches For Blessing Veterans Tree and picture card is a trademark of The Heritage of Heroes.

Pinning ceremonies are a storied tradition of recognition. These events honor the legacy of veterans, Gold Star families, and Civilian War Survivors with the presentation of a commemorative pin and certificate—symbols of our nation’s enduring respect for their bravery and sacrifice. The Heritage of Heroes offers four types of pins:

The Heritage of Heroes works with the state and local cities to recognize veterans with Proclamation Days in their honor.
These special days are celebrated each year to share with the wider community their stories of heroism and sacrifice.
January 12, 2025 was proclaimed as “Nathan Gage Ingram Day” by the 89th Texas Legislature in recognition of his sacrifice. Gage was from Trophy Club, Texas.
January 14, 2020 was proclaimed as "Fiske Hanley Day" in honor of the World War II hero's 100th birthday as proclaimed by then mayor, Betsy Price of Fort Worth.
February 2, 2015 was proclaimed as "Chris Kyle Day" by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to honor the late Navy SEAL and Odessa native, who was the U.S. military's most prolific sniper. Chris was from Midlothian, Texas.
March 26, 2025 was proclaimed as “John Boswell Day” by the City of Midlothian in honor of the WWII Navy Corpsman with the 3rd Marine Division.
